IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NEW PEN PAL ADS

Effective January 31, 2012, we will temporarily cease to accept new internet ads. We (Michelle & Motty) are both expecting babies within a few weeks of one another and need this time to dedicate to our families.

We have enjoyed serving your pen pal needs for the last 8 years and have no plans of closing LostVault. We simply need these well-deserved maternity leaves and plan to resume accepting new ads sometime in the spring. Existing ads will remain online throughout our time off.

If you have existing ads in your account and edit them within this time period, we will still be approving your ads, but you cannot post new ads or register for new accounts. Please be patient with us, as it may take longer than normal for your ad to be re-approved and online after you edit them. We will not be responding to emails during this time, so please hold your inquiries until after we reopen for ad postings.

We will continue to take the small volume of ads we receive via postal mail for the $5 fee. Sorry – no free ads via mail during this down time unless the inmate is on death row. There will be no exceptions.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to helping your inmate loved ones in the future. We anticipate reopening 05/01/2012, but that is subject to change. Please check back in the spring!
